Meet Caroline Littlejohn, DMDDr. Littlejohn grew up locally in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.  She received her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.  Upon graduation from dental school, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.  She then returned to the Philadelphia region to pursue a residency in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.  Through this residency, she gained extensive training in implant dentistry and treatment of periodontal diseases.  While in residency, she also completed a master’s thesis on the effects of antibiotics on the oral and gut microbiomes.  She is currently a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she teaches periodontics to predoctoral students.

Dr. Littlejohn’s goal is to make visits to the dentist positive for patients and not only to provide them with the best care but also give them the time and space to ask questions and understand treatment options.

In her free time, Dr. Littlejohn enjoys being outside, reading, baking, and spending time with her two cats – Sailor and Green Bean.
